Cherie Blair, CBE KC, is a leading international human rights lawyer, writer, philanthropist and committed campaigner for womenâs rights. She is a Leading Kingâs Counsel and was awarded a CBE in the 2013 New Yearâs Honours List for services to womenâs issues and to charities in both the UK and overseas.
She was a founding member of Matrix Chambers which was formed in 2000 specialising in human rights law, and she is currently the Founder and Chair of Omnia Strategy law firm
In 2008, she established the award-winning Cherie Blair Foundation for Women which has so far supported over 200,000 women across more than 100 countries.
She was also the first wife of a British prime minister who had her own full-time career! đ„
